The phrase “Fake news” is considered to be a  neologism  which means it’s a relatively recent or isolated term or phrase that may be in the process of entering common use, but that has not yet been fully accepted into mainstream language. Neologisms are often driven by changes in culture and technology. The phrase “Fake news” refers to news or websites that have no basis in fact, but are presented as being factually accurate. And in this polarized climate this phrase has been weaponized and levied against one side or the other, depending on what news you choose to subscribe to. Occupational psychosis:   Occurs when one's occupation or career makes one so biased that one could be described as psychotic, Especially common in tight occupational circles, individuals can normalize ideas or behaviors that seem absurd or irrational to the external public.
