“The Social Contract Has Been Broken!”

Arguably “The social contract” has always been broken”

Philosopher Thomas Hobbs and Social contract:

Social contract is a theory or model that originated during the Age of Enlightenment and usually concerns the legitamicy of the authority of the state over the individual. Social contract argues typically that individuals have consented either explicitly or tacitly, to surrender some of their freedoms and submit to the authority (of the ruler, or to the decision of a majority) in exchange for protection of their remaining rights or maintenance of the social order.

When what is considered to be the highest office of the land is occupied by someone who has no respect for public office the inevitable consequence is the erosion of public trust. And if we are honest, for many public trust has been eroding long before recent times, Yet this compounded by life altering global disruptions in the way humanity as a whole Function’s. We are in a time we’re people are leaving home to get groceries and coming back to see loved ones that were alive when they left no longer living, lying lifeless and considered a biohazard, loved ones dying alone in hospitals and nursing homes buried in mass graves while political leaders debate on what racist group affiliation they will denounce in between  golf games and signing bills into law that when carefully examined you will be hard pressed to find a separation of corporate, private and government interests that always supersedes the service of the people. It shouldn’t be a surprise that there is a deficit of public trust.  And a wagging of a finger from a bully pulpit or using a fatherly or motherly tone or swagger will not bridge the gap of distrust and hesitancy that the people have with community leaders and government. And it goes beyond personality and approach when the institutional infrastructure supports attitudes and moral and ethical fallacy’s even when that support is through silence , even when that personality is replaced the institution is still intact, The elephant in the room becomes the rooms protocol thus unmoved, unquestioned and unchallenged , just conformed to and respected as the standard, fortified in demanding public trust by sheer power, fear and authority, and not by trust at all.

No public trust equates to lawlessness and the breakdown of societies social contract and the appearance of law and order gives your enemy the blueprint for your demise.

The two headed servant

Part -2

America’s National behavioral expression is in alignment with that of a double headed snake.

“Let’s unpack”

The two headed serpent

Snakes with two heads are extremely rare but they do exist....

If you were to watch a double headed snake feed, they often fight over which head will swallow the prey, feeding takes a good deal of time, as the two heads fight over food, during which time they would be highly vulnerable to predators “They also have a great deal of difficulty deciding which direction to go, and if they had to respond to an attack quickly they would just not be capable of it.

In light of Jan 6th’s 2021’s events,  The executive branch launched a violent assault on the legislative branch, by weaponizing a faction of the executive branches constituency with disinformation, misinformation and conflated information. These two branches of government were designed to work together along with the legislative branch In a system of checks and balances, but these checks and balances failed causing a split, the Executive branch acting as one head of the snake struck the other head of the snake the legislative branch and as described above this opens the whole body of the snake to predators, creates difficulty in navigating direction and slows its defensive responses. This creates a ripple effect and creates splinters of factions throughout all branches of government and civil society.  Exposing cracks, within social and organizational infrastructures. With long lasting catastrophic impacts and implications.

Another aspect of Philosopher Thomas Hobbs social contract is a concept called Body politic :  In Western political thought, body politic is an ancient metaphor by which a state, society, or church and its institutions are conceived of as a biological (usually human) body. As it is usually applied, the metaphor implies hierarchical leadership and a division of labor and it carries a strong autocratic or monarchial connotation.

According to english philosopher Thomas Hobbes the body politic expresses in three ways in politics it’s expressed with the body of a Leviathan :

Leviathan defined :

A sea monster defeated by Yahweh in various scriptural accounts

B: a large sea animal

this leviathan of animals is the great Blue Whale — Weston LaBarre

Capitalized : the political state

especially : a totalitarian state having a vast bureaucracy.

Polycephaly: is the condition of having more than one head The term is derived from the Greek stems poly (Greek: "πολύ") meaning "many" and kephalē (Greek: "κεφαλή") meaning "head". A polycephalic organism may be thought of as one being with a Supernumerary body part or as two or more beings with a shared body.- Wikipedia
